Alsa, no sound via HDMI but sound via headphones

Hello I have my PC connected to a TV through HDMI, the problem is that there is no sound at all and I cannot change the volume of the card in alsa

There is sound when I chose the audio jack and use headphones, but I need the sound through the TV too

alsamixer does not usually have level controls for s/pdif digital
but can see all outputs are unmuted (OO)

Assuming you have pulseaudio installed, need to select the correct HDMI playback device out of possible 4 shown in alsamixer
If you have Pulseaudio Volume Control pavucontrol, settings for playback device will be in 'Output Devices' and 'Configuration'
