Hola soy nuevo por aqui
Mi problema es que desde la ultima actualización de manjaro el escritorio plasma no inicia
ingreso la contraseña y hece amago de iniciar pero vuelve a enseñar la contraseña y asi siempre
Me ocurre tanto en waylan como en x11

Acobo de hacer lo que me has comentado y plsma inicia sin gui perfectamente
Y la partición no esta llena
Ademas tengo deepin tampien y va perfectamente
Una cosa en la ultima actualizacón aconsejaban desintalar python311 de aur antes de actualizar
yo lo tenia pero no vi el mensaje ese y le di a actulizar y desde entoces pasa eso

Bienvenido al foro, el comando startx que ejecutaste inicia la sesión automàticamente, porque ya has introducido el nombre de usuario y contraseña.
Te recomiendo que leas las instrucciones acerca de python311 que estàn publicadas en la ùltima actualizaciòn estable en el foro, tal vez allì encuentres la soluciòn al probllema.

Plasma is a GUI.
I guess you mean Manjaro started without a GUI.

It was NOT for the LAST update, it was for a much earlier update; read those notes carefully.
Old notes stay there in case someone needs to update a system that has not been used for a long time.

You have Deepin and Plasma installed on the same Manjaro system?
And Deepin runs OK.
Uninstalling system Python would stop everything, I think,
so perhaps system Python is still there.

Press Ctrl+Alt+F4 and log in, then do python -V
It should reply with Python 3.11.6

Also try ls -l /usr/bin/python*
The output should include these lines:
