After update: theme deleted, cannot start system

Wayland has nothing to do with the boot loader. It is a display server.

Try installing and running install-grub. It should make sure that your boot loader functions normally, and that Manjaro’s boot loader is in control. :backhand_index_pointing_down:

sudo pacman -S install-grub && sudo install-grub

P.S.: And please keep your system up-to-date now, as well as that you should subscribe to notifications for the Announcements > Stable Updates category.

Other things happen there. :wink:

A rolling release like Manjaro or Arch is then likely not what you would want to use.

There are very good alternatives in the form of Mint, and even Debian itself, if you want a bit of a challenge.

With those, you’ll never have any problem, likely not even during a version change every three or four years.

Isn’t CachyOS and Manjaro pretty close anyways?

I would decide between one OS and uninstall the other… sound’s to me that’s a lot of work to maintain two different Arch Distro’s.

I would guess that gaming performance should be almost identical between both Distro’s or not?
