After update on June 12 2022 akonadi will not start

After doing a system update on 6-12-2022 Kontact/Kmail will not display my email. It looks like the problem is with the akonadi server. If I try to start Kontact in a termal I get the following output:

I saw someone post something similar but that was 19 days ago and I believe his exit code was 6 whereas mine is 1.
I also tried akonadictl status and got this output:

I have just done a similar update (mainly kde-applications 22.04.1 to 22.04.2, I think), arising in the same problem with akonadi not running.

Maybe try:

touch ~/.local/share/akonadi/db_data/ib_logfile0

Ironically I installed Manjaro KDE on a laptop, today, that I plan to use in my office and have ran into the same issue as you are having. I still have not figured out what is causing this but if you figure it out before I do, please let me know.
