After update, can't find grub

Hi, I’m running Manjaro Cinnamon. After the last update, I can’t boot anymore, receiving error:

grub-probe: error: cannot find a GRUB drive for /dev/sda1. Check your device.map.

I have booted into usb, running architect & managed to mount my encrypted partition. I have chrooted into my partition & locked my database.

I have run this command:

sudo pacman -Syu $(pacman -Qq | grep -i “^linux[0-9]”)

But receive this:

:: Synchronizing package databases…
core is up to date
extra is up to date
community is up to date
multilib is up to date
error: target not found: linux511

(I have no idea what I’m doing, all of the above is just from googling).

Now, I’m stuck, don’t know what to do. Any help?

PS: my system was pretty up to date, but my usb is outdated (don’t have the option of creating a new usb atm). I’m not sure if this is why there’s no kernel 511??

If you can mount it, you should be able to to chroot in, from there you should be able to follow the rest of that wiki.

Thank you! That was it, the final line:

pacman -Syu grub

Awesome, system works again.
