I don’t have splash screen enabled - doesn’t that appear AFTER the login screen?

I actually removed plymouth, I like old-school text flying up the screen during boot :wink:

  • OP Cannot paste terminal output.

Boot from USB

KSplash settings exist in:

~/.local/share/plasma/look-and-feel #USER
/usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/

To fix this bug, maybe boot USB and first move some USER configs:

mv /home/USER/.config /home/USER/.configTEST
mv /home/USER/.local /home/USER/.localTEST

Reboot and see if it’s different.
