Hi,
After an hour, my laptop will automatically suspend due to inactivity. In the Plasma System Settings → Power Management section, I also enabled the ‘While asleep, hibernate after a period of inactivity’ option which causes my laptop to hibernate after being suspended. After waking up my laptop and then logging in, the plasmashell loads just fine. Everything works as expected, but after a minute the entire shell just crashes: the panel, the desktop background, the application menu. It’s gone. Only a black screen along with the cursor remain. Fortunately, I can still open my terminal with CTRL+ALT+T and then type kstart5 plasmashell
. This has been my interim solution, but I would like to know how I can resolve this permanantly.
