After latest stable update icons are changed

Hi All,
After latest stable update(17th Jan), all my icons changed its own. I was using maia theme and icons. Even if I change the icons from Appearance it does not change. And also, VLC and Calibre are not working. I think it is an issue with some package, other than the icons itself. Can you please help?

Calibre is now fixed in unstable, perhaps should be pushed to stable? Working version is calibre 2.77.0-3.

Icons - not a clue - perhaps run xfce4-appearance-settings in a terminal and post any errors.

VLC, working here on unstable, run in terminal and post the errors.

No message at all.

And for vlc

sudo pacman -Rsn vlc

To uninstall, then:

sudo pacman -S vlc

to reinstall.

Do you use infinality?

Get rid:

Thank you.
I was using infinality, and I did the things said above. Now VLC and Calibre are working. Thanks again.
But, still ICONS ARE NOT FINE. All icons come as default xfce icons.

Weird. Let me investigate…

The issue was a faulty .config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce4-perchannel-xml/display.xml.

cp ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/displays.xml ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/displays.old
cp /etc/xdg/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/displays.xml ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/displays.xml

Never trust what you think you have in your clipboard buffer - edit to correct

After digging:

grep -iH sardi *
xsettings.xml: <property name="IconThemeName" type="string" value="Sardi-Arc"/>

Check all the file permissions of all files in that directory - mine:

-rw-r--r-- 1 steve steve 2401 Jan 23 19:39 xsettings.xml

(All the same).

= 644

That is the same.

I deleted the entire .config/xfce4 directory and loaded the default settings of xfce. Still no change. Thank you for your effort and concern. I think I can manage without maia and other icons sets.
