After installing Steam from pamac language switches partly to english & terminal can't be opened

Hi,

After I installed “Steam” from pamac, I had to restart. Since then manjaro’s language is partly set to english. I also get a notification, that I logged in with another language. In the settings (Region und Sprache/ region and language) I cannot change the language back: No languages at all are listed (only different keyboard layouts).

What is even stranger is that starting the terminal won’t work at all. What’s curious is that there has been someone with a similar problem: Terminal won't start/open

Can somebody help me figure it out? Would be much appreciated.
