After installation audio not working

On one volume I have windows installed for some work cases.
Audio does not work after installing Manjaro on Windows.
When I reboot and switch to Windows, the audio is buggy and only noise is heard. After restarting for Windows, this solves the problem. But for Manjaro no. I think maybe it’s somehow connected.

$ inxi -Aazy
Audio:
  Device-1: Intel Tiger Lake-LP Smart Sound Audio vendor: ASUSTeK
    driver: snd_hda_intel v: kernel alternate: snd_sof_pci_intel_tgl
    bus-ID: 0000:00:1f.3 chip-ID: 8086:a0c8 class-ID: 0403
  Sound Server-1: ALSA v: k5.15.41-1-MANJARO running: yes
  Sound Server-2: JACK v: 1.9.21 running: no
  Sound Server-3: PulseAudio v: 15.0 running: yes
  Sound Server-4: PipeWire v: 0.3.51 running: yes
$ systemctl --user status pulseaudio
● pulseaudio.service - Sound Service
     Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/user/pulseaudio.service; disabled; vendor>
     Active: active (running)

If you use Windows, you have to disable their fastboot option.

Additionally, I recommend switching to pipewire by installing manjaro-pipewire.
Beware that it might remove quite a few packages. If in doubt, ask first.

manjaro-pipewire fix problem. Thanks :slight_smile:
