I do not see an appropriate driver. On AUR there is something for TR8500 series - Will this work? I confess I am a newbie and not quite sure how I would install the AUR package. Anyway the TR8620 is very nice for a middle range home office - Windows interfaces nicely but not seeing Linux support.
There is a TR 8600 driver in The AUR that says its for 6.10-1 series
The AUR driver page says “Printer drivers for the Cannon 8620 series”
It looks to be available via the AUR (Arch User repository). You can install via the Pamac GUI or in terminal:
pamac build canon-tr8600-series

Your missing the base-devel meta package which is a prerequisite for using the AUR. See Arch User Repository - Manjaro
Thanks – The missing base-devel git is what it took-- Then the AUR stuff works
base-devel is in the repo’s not sure why you need the AUR git version?
I think he meant base-devel and git.
