How can I add a file to KDE Plasma menu favorites?

Just drag and drop the file :wink:
It helps when you pin the menu

I am using the “Application Menu” widget

You can also right-click on the app in the menu and “Add to favorites”

The file is a Spreadsheet.

There should be a better way, but I don’t use KDE much so :man_shrugging:

Switch to the Application Launcher, drag the file over the menu icon, wait until the menu opens and drop it in the space on the right, switch back. It should now show in the Application Menu.

I was able to do it by drag and drop from Dolphin to the Favorites I’m using the Application Menu
