I have an old laptop (Acer Aspire 5740G). It has temperature sensors which are recognized and registered, but for some reason they show no readings when measured. Other sensors (Temp 1 and Temp 2) work fine, it’s only the core temperatures and GPU temp that do this. I’m presuming it’s not a missing driver not implemented by the kernel, as in that case the sensors would simply not show up.
