Guten Tag ich habe eine neu Installation Durchgeführt und habe in YouTube nach den ersten Dingen nach der Installation gesucht.Dies durch geführt. ( wer das Video sehen möchte um nachzuvollziehen was da ich da installiert habe hier der Name: Kanal : CodeInc, video: 10 Things To Do After Installing Manjaro 21.3.7 “Ruah”) und musste nach 72 std Laufzeit und 16std Pause feststellen das Manjaro eingefroren ist . Nun meine Frage Kann das am Kernel 6.1.7-1liegen der seit dem neu Aufsetzung dabei ist ? Konnte auch kein anderen Kernel verwenden Installieren ja aber nicht beim reboot aus suchen darauf hin den genutzten Kernel nicht Entfernen.Die Datei habe Ich am Sonntag den 22.01.2023 auf Manjaro Herunter geladen.

Video-anleitungen sind hier wenig beliebt. Manjaro ist ein rolling release. Und die Videos haben meist kein Ablaufdatum
Das ding ist der Kernel lässt sich nicht ändern der bleibt bei der 6.1.7-1.

man installiert einen zweiten Kernel und bootet den
danach kannst Du den ersten löschen
man sollte immer zwei (verschiedene) haben - wie das geht ist alles in dem Link beschrieben

Da Entschuldige ich mich habe vergessen dazu zu schreiben das das auswählen beim reboot nicht kommt . Also es ist auch ein 2 kernel installiert den ich nicht beim reboot starten kann . Manjaro Fährt direkt hoch was ist da jetzt die Lösung ?
ESC drücken nach der Bios/Firmware Initialisierung.
Oder die Datei:
/etc/default/grub
bearbeiten - so daß das Menü immer gezeigt wird
danach sudo update-grub ausführen
Danke ESC hat geholfen bei der Datei Änderung wusste ich nicht welches # da weg muss .
Da gibt es (auch hier im Forum unter wiki oder HowTo) massenweise Anleitungen dazu - Arch/Manjaro spezifische sind definitiv vorzuziehen.
Aber lass lieber die Finger davon, denn da muß nicht nur irgendein # weg …
Mit ESC kommt man ja ohne weiteres dran wenn man es mal braucht.
Falls Du Dich doch dranmachen willst:
mach eine Kopie der Datei so wie sie jetzt ist, so daß Du im Fall des Falles ohne weiteres den Originalzustand wieder herstellen kannst.
