A few serious issues after Manjaro installation

When I installed Manjaro on an AMD ryzen 3450U laptop, I found it suffered a few serious issues.
For example, dmesg shows:

when I use the touchpad, spamming these messages continuosly over and over.
Also, bluetooth doesn’t work. Then, when I choose Suspend in Xfce menu, I can’t resume. Finally, Ive noticed there’s a noticeable battery drain when the laptop is inactive.

I don’t know how to solve these issues. Waiting for a reply, thanks.

Just curious, do you need the 5.18 kernel for specific hardware support? Do you get the same errors running a lts kernel like 5.15?

Unfortunately, those issues still happen with the default 5.15 kernel :disappointed:

Any other ideas? Thanks :slightly_smiling_face:

EDIT: I forgot to say there is another serious issue: when I connect a usb device to usb ports, after a little time it dies, as if usb port is disabled :astonished:

From what I have found its a kernel issue. I was hoping a lts would solve it. You might want to try 5.19. Make sure to leave one of the installed kernels, its a good practice to have at least two kernels.

Hi @cristian_c ,
The BT hardware is up.
I wonder whether you consider to make a swap partition in order to solve your problem.

Hope it help, regards

I’ve installed 5.19.1 but issues still happen. Have you any other ideas?

@j8a,
I know swap is needed when amount of RAM is limited. On this machine, RAM is not busy, I’m using just 2.0 GiB (35%) :confused:
