3.5mm input headphone microphone are not working

This problem has been happening on my notebook for a few months, I believe it may be an error with the kernel, as recently I went to do a new installation of the manjaro and in its live version before the installation the microphone of my headset worked perfectly. The problem is not in the audio stage or in the entrance I believe, because when I use windows everything works correctly.

I don’t know how to apply patch patches in the kernel because I’m still a beginner, and I don’t even know if that’s the problem.

Anyway, if anyone can help me I appreciate it very much.

in file alsa.conf, locale: etc/modprobe.d

i try the config:
options snd-hda-intel model = auto
options snd-hda-intel model = acer-aspire
options snd-hda-intel model = aspire-headset-mic

none of them worked, I have had this problem for months, and I have tried to use old versions of the kernel and they do not work. However, the live installation system recognized it. I don’t know how to solve this, people, someone helps me.

Kernel has a model option for Aspire E5-523G that may also work for this model

ALC255_FIXUP_ACER_MIC_NO_PRESENCE identifier - Linux source code (v5.9.11) - Bootlin
7758 SND_PCI_QUIRK)(0x1025, 0x1099, “Acer Aspire E5-523G”, ALC255_FIXUP_ACER_MIC_NO_PRESENCE),
8209 {.id = ALC255_FIXUP_ACER_MIC_NO_PRESENCE, .name = “alc255-acer”},

so I suggest you try this option in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa.conf

options snd-hda-intel model = alc255-acer
