2nd Display automatically getting disabled

Hi,
I’ve recently been facing a problem where my 2nd display suddenly gets disabled after going through the lock screen. The problem usually occurs when the displays go blank after idling and when coming back to using my pc and logging back in. During the lock screen both monitors work, but right after logging in, my 2nd display gets disabled and goes blank again. I then have to go to display settings and manually enable the display again by clicking the enable switch next to the display name.

For now I’ve just tried resetting my display settings by deleting displays.xml, but that didn’t help.

Is there anything else that I could do? Any help appreciated.

Try setting a display profile, and enable automatic configuration.

Thanks for the help, ticking configure new displays when connected while having a profile did the trick.
