240hz does not work

Hello,

for some reason my monitor can’t use 240hz anymore. It hass HUGE black bars and is stretched. When I am on Windows it works just fine. I have a Samsung LC27G74TQSUXZG. 144Hz and below works just fine. I have tried all options in my monitor. I think its just an OS problem at this point.

I also tried it on popOS and the same issue.

the weird thing is, it worked yesterday just fine.

So what changed?

only half of the image is being rendered. it is rly frustrating because it happened over night.

The question was intended to make you think about what (you?) changed on the system not how the issue presents itself.

Did you check all cables? Unplug und replug them.

I am so confused, literally confused. I turned my monitor off and on like 100 times. Didn’t do anything,

I plugged my power cable in and out and now it works…

Thank you.

I didn’t think it would be that easy.
