I have got a Notebook with a dual gpu setup. I only use the display from the laptop itself, it supports 165hz. I turned on 165hz and it still runs with 60hz despite xrandr saying it runs with 165.
glxgears with vsync runs with 60hz, as well as testufo. On windows it feels 10x smoother because it really uses 165hz. Does anybody have any idea what could cause this?
